What a performance at Australia.!! Or you guys loved their performance at England!!Or you guys are waiting for the Asia cup??Whatever be the answer, keep it with you.It was a great chance for the team India to have a victory in Australian soil.Yeah.because if you have observed the Australian performance before their test against India you would understand that they had dismissed for 47 in South Africa a month earlier.Then they lost to New Zealand just 10 days before the start of first test.They were under a great pressure as Ponting and Hussey were not in form and even Clarke's captaincy was questioned.But finally what happened.In the entire series India managed just four victories in 14 matches,including all three formats.The last time Indian's suffered a 0-4 whitewash on Australian soil was in 1967-68.This was the third whitewash down under.From these performances one thing is clear.Indian team is facing some problems and issues.So what are those problems and issues??I know this is not a simple question to answer.Everyone will come out with different problems and solutions as well.But this can be done only after a study and evaluation of our team.So let's start rite??!!
Sachin,that's the first name catching the attention of my mind.Don't know why!! May be because i like Sachin the most among the cricket players in the world.Leading run scorer in both test and ODI,leading century maker and the first player to score a double century in ODI cricket.Are these records enough to admire and worship him??Tendulkar is the first and the only player in Test cricket history to score 50 centuries in all international cricket combined.I think this is enough about him.But we are not discussing if he is a great player or not.instead what he did at India's bad and critical situations at Australia.Analysing Tendulkar's performance during Australia tour,Chappel said that Sachin looked in good touch when he was playing freely but showed vulnerability when batted conservatively.May be he is right about Sachin.In cricket, team's performance is important than individual performance.We all know the way Sourav Ganguly have gone out of the team.If sachin is not playing well he deserves the same treatment too.Hey dont stare at me.I am not against Sachin.but talking with true facts.
Now the second man i would like to focus is Sehwag.What about his performance?bad luck for him as well.Being a great hitter of the ball, he too failed to give india a good start with little master.Instead of talking about Sehwag's performance i think it is more better to have about India's opening.We saw India's awesome win against Sri Lanka in the last match.The credit goes to kohli ofcourse.But we have to thank our openers for gifting a great start.So the one thing is clear here.India always need a better start to move on to a win.If our openers are consistent in providing a good opening score like 50 runs from 25 balls or a 35 from 15,kohli and gambir will carry India to a good total.
Now lets move to our great captain,Dhoni.It is hard to blame him at this instance as he was the man behind the t20 WC and 50 over WC for India.But if we can forget Sachin's past performance and blame him,then why cannot criticize Dhoni for the two consecutive failure.This time Dhoni came up with a new idea,an opeining rotation system.According to this new scheme, one opening player among Sachin,Sehwag or Gambir have to be kept outside the team.But we saw how far it has helped india in the series.we have to think for a while that if it was a strategy to keep Rohith Sharma in the team.Whatever...Rohith Sharma was a total failure in the series as well.He put down everyone's hope over him.The australian former captain Mark Taylor said that there are plenty of lessons to be learnt for India and one of them should be the one day captaincy.He remarked that Dhoni should learn from jayavardhana in the way he carried Sri Lanka over his shoulder.Hope you guys all know that the next world cup for 50 over format is going to be held at Australia.Do Dhoni can be a best captain to led India in Australia?Dhoni proved one thing.He is capable of carrying team in the Indian subcontinent where the pitches favours the run flow.But the question remains if he can do the same role in the pitches which favour the bowlers.
Did you ever noticed the attitude of indian players??Sunil gavasker said that India have to change their attitude.There were occasions when it looked like they were not hurt enough.There were a few examples.Ishant Sharma dropped a catch of Michael Clarke off his own bowling and what do you think his reaction.He was smiling.Gavasker said "You dont smile when you drop a catch and Clarke went to score triple hundred".
Now i hope this would be an interesting part of this article.Let's start this session with our selection committee.Do you think that our selection committee is doing the right choices at right time?Hope you will be aware of the indian team for the upcoming Asia cup.Sehwag,zahir khan and Umesh Yadav have been rested.Virat kohli is the new vice captain.It is an interesting news that we have yousuf pathan back in team.also Ashok dinda,great fast bowler, and manoj tiwari is included in the team.Sachin has been lucky enough to be selected.Jadeja is also maintained in the team.Is that a correct decision?Jadeja was also a failure in the series.We have Yousuf Pathan in team and still kept jadeja.We have to wait for the action then.
We all would have different options for the Indian team selection .i will support one player and somebody will support another one.All the options will have faults and benefits as well.Our indian team selected by a selection committee which consists of past indian players but their decisions can also be go wrong.We saw it already.So have this interesting question..!! What about a voting system for the selection process??surprised?? ya...i am going to talk about it right now..A website under the authorisation of bcci will be maintained for the selection process through a voting system.Not anyone can participate in the voting system,but the state cricket players from all the states and the past indian players.All of them will be provided with a specific login id and password. A list of final 20 members will be given for the voting process.The voters have to select their team of 15 members from them.Just a random voting is not enough.They have to give the reasons for a particular selection.This is only my idea.You all will have another creative solutions too.please write your ideas here.
